In particular, focusing on supporting industries, especially some large manufacturing and processing industries such as textiles, footwear, and electronics.

The industry groups and supporting products of Binh Duong have advantages such as packaging, textile, mechanical engineering, electrical equipment, electronic components, gradually replacing imported spare parts and components, from there to improve the localization rate and create competitiveness for domestic industrial products.

According to Mr. Nguyen Quang Vu, Chairman of Binh Duong Leather and Footwear Association, currently the source of raw materials for the domestic footwear industry is only about 20-25%, the rest must be imported. Therefore, if the source of raw materials is available locally or domestically, this industry will increase its competitiveness with competitors in the region, developing the support industry of footwear industry will help enterprises proactively supply raw materials and supplies. At the same time, it attracts foreign investors into Vietnam.

From the positive actions of the province, the initiative of the departments, branches and localities, so far Binh Duong has attracted more than 2,300 production and business enterprises related to the field of supporting industry. At the same time, in order to attract investment resources, create favorable conditions for domestic and foreign enterprises to invest, Binh Duong has been encouraging businesses to develop production and business of each group of adaptive support products. In addition, Binh Duong also invests in constructing industrial parks and industrial clusters to produce spare parts, components and supporting materials for industries; assisting small and medium enterprises to participate in the production of supporting products. In particular, Binh Duong has built a separate industrial park in Bau Bang district, covering over 1,000 hectares, giving priority to attracting investment capital into supporting industries, especially foreign investment projects.
